The partnership between Dentons and SPGlegal has led to the creation of Convecta, a professional partnership of lawyers providing comprehensive assistance in B2B credit management and collection.
The company stems from the clients’ need of a large international law firm such as Dentons to rely on a highly trusted team with a tailor-made approach to credit management.
Convecta combines top-level legal expertise with management skills and operational efficiency of processes, capitalising on the experience gained by SPGlegal in about 10 years of activity in B2B credit collection.
Credit management is an increasingly strategic activity for companies, both financially and in terms of client relations. Thanks to an integrated team of lawyers and credit collectors, Convecta is able to professionally and effectively manage every stage of the process: from debt position analysis to collection, including the management of any disputes and the drafting of settlement agreements.
The company is chaired by lawyer Federico Sutti and led by lawyer Santi Puglisi as Managing Director.
With more than 180 offices in over 70 countries, Dentons is the world’s largest law firm. Through its polycentric approach based on the commitment to inclusion and valuing diversity, Dentons challenges the status quo and assists clients with quality solutions to help them compete in an increasingly complex and competitive market.
Dentons opened its first Italian office in Milan in October 2015, followed by a second office in Rome, in July 2016. With over 130 professionals, Dentons provides legal assistance across a wide range of fields and practice areas. Although the Firm is newly established in Italy, its professionals have more than twenty years of experience in assisting Italian and international clients and offer high quality advice to meet the needs and expectations of the most demanding clients.
SPGlegal is an Italian law firm founded in 2013 by lawyer Santi Puglisi. The firm provides an integrated offer of assistance and legal advice in and out of court, mainly in civil, corporate and bankruptcy matters. SPGlegal includes a department dedicated to the provision of an integrated service of credit collection, both in the extrajudicial and legal phases, with the main aim of ensuring that clients entrust their entire credit management process to a single advisor, thereby improving effectiveness and optimising time and costs. This department consists of lawyers and credit managers with extensive experience in the sector, gained in the field and in the credit departments of multinationals, with the primary purpose of supporting companies that intend to entrust credit collection (in the pre-legal and legal phase) to highly experienced professionals.
